I'm Sharon. I founded Far Fetched Gems by SLP because I'm passionate about bringing you exceptional handcrafted gemstone rings from talented artisans around the world.

My Story

I founded my company because of memorable occasions during which my mother would hand-off a ring to me that she in turn received from others, including my grandmother. I recently wondered if I could share rings I discovered with individuals that in turn may hand-down the rings to their beloved individuals.

Rings are a special token that can represent love, friendship, travels, and a glimpse of your personality. My rings tell stories. What about yours?

My Background

I reside in the Midwest of the United States and have experience as a fashion blogger for my site, A Fashion Crowd. I was a freelance blogger for a local publication, StreetScape Magazine, and had a brief stint as a freelance writer for Town and Style, a local magazine.

My background in fashion writing gave me a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship, unique design, and the stories behind beautiful pieces. This passion, combined with my family's tradition of passing down meaningful rings, led me to curate a collection that others can treasure and share for generations.
