Keep dry. Once plating wears, copper can leave a faint green mark on skin. To prevent, apply clear nail polish around the inner band of the ring. Or, Krylon Crystal Clear lacquer to stop the metal from touching your skin. You may also apply Renaissance Wax or pure beeswax. The polish or wax, whichever you prefer, needs regular reapplication.
